I enjoy the textural qualities of the material and process of Feltmaking. My compositions are made by colour mixing and layering dyed wool fibres which are hand milled to create an image embedded in felted fabric. Using line and many shades of colour the combination of design and technique comes to life.

My inspiration comes from garden or wild flora and I am interested in reflecting patterns of growth, the vitality and visual beauty of plant life.

The finished Feltworks may be framed pieces or wall hangings.
